About European Teachers

European mobility programmes designed by educators: teacher training courses, job shadowing and school group mobilities in Bordeaux, built with a strong language and cultural immersion background.

European Teachers is an Erasmus teacher training provider and host organisation based in Bordeaux, France. We welcome educators from across Europe participating in Erasmus+ mobility programmes, from a single teacher joining a course to a whole class on a school group mobility.

European mobility programmes designed by educators

Everything we organise starts from a pedagogical question: what should participants learn, practise and bring home? Our Erasmus teacher training courses cover 21 topics across language teaching, digital education, inclusive education and innovative pedagogy. Our job shadowing programmes turn observation into structured professional learning, and our school group mobilities combine language practice, cultural discovery and European citizenship for pupils.

Our background as an Erasmus teacher training provider

Our team comes from language teaching, teacher training and cultural immersion. The educator who coordinates our job shadowing programmes in Bordeaux worked for more than 20 years as a teacher in the French national education system; our facilitators can support participants in French, English and Spanish. This is why our programmes go beyond logistics: we help teachers make sense of what they observe and learn.

A group rooted in language learning and cultural immersion

European Teachers is part of an educational group that also includes a French language school based in Bordeaux and a specialist in cultural and professional immersion programmes in France. Our background is not mass tourism: it is education, language learning and carefully designed cultural immersion, and every mobility we build reflects that.

Why Bordeaux?

A UNESCO listed city on a human scale: walkable, safe and easy to reach from across Europe, with an exceptional mix of heritage, river landscapes, sustainable city projects and everyday French life, as the official Bordeaux tourist office showcases all year round. Bordeaux gives every programme a real cultural dimension, whether you join a course, an observation week or a school group mobility, and an ideal setting for your Erasmus mobility Bordeaux project, whatever its size.

Our approach to Erasmus+ mobility

Structured programmes with clear learning objectives, human-scale groups, personal support from first enquiry to certification, and honest planning: each programme is confirmed individually according to your objectives, dates and group size. We provide the Europass mobility document, learning agreement, certificates and any additional documentation required by your national agency, and your institution can apply for an Erasmus+ KA1 grant, so it may cover travel, accommodation and the fees of your programme through the grant.

Who we work with

Teachers of all levels and subjects, headteachers, school leaders, Erasmus+ coordinators and whole school teams, from primary schools to vocational and higher education. Browse our teacher training courses by category, or start directly with our plan a mobility page.
